My endurance is high but I’m also able to add in heavy weights to my training.  Fun fact: I was the winner of the first JDFIT fitness competition based on the heart monitor stats.   I may be slightly competitive!

Outside of fitness training. I am a mom of 4 grown children.  I am a high school Cross Country and Track and Field Coach at Morley Stanwood.  I also volunteer on the Sports Boosters, fundraising, and in other areas at the school as needed.  I love spending time with family and friends, hiking, traveling, playing pickleball, and being outside.  In high school, I played basketball, was on the cheer team, and played second base on the softball team. I’ve learned that being active is so important and fun and  I love teaching others how to enjoy incorporating fitness into their own lifestyles!

Years ago, after having four kids and having retained some of the pregnancy weight, my sister asked me to be at her wedding.  When trying on dresses, I had to make a decision about what size dress to order.  This meant possibly sizing up one, which I was not interested in doing! So, I decided to focus on my health and nutrition.   I put the time and effort into reaching my goals and was able to fit into the smaller dress in time for my sister’s big day.  It was not easy but it was so rewarding!  My goal is to help others on their journey, so they can meet their own personal goals and have that same feeling of accomplishment!

I love to help clients feel comfortable in a gym and enjoy the process.  I know what it’s like to feel unsure in a gym atmosphere and want to help make the experience enjoyable and as stress-free as possible.  I love to support clients along their journey and help hold them accountable, so they can reach their own fitness goals.
